Two looks for Trinity Ball, made by taking the dress code apart and pinning it back together.

The Commission

Details

Trinity Ball comes with a dress code that has not moved in a century: the suit, worn properly. Malaki works in a tradition built to argue with exactly that instruction.

So the suits were taken apart rather than worn. Sleeves cut away and pinned back at the shoulder with the safety pins left showing. Jackets reduced to waistcoats with the sleeves hanging off them. White contrast topstitching along every raw edge, and collars scaled up to a size from another decade.

None of it is a costume version of formalwear. Every piece is a real garment, properly cut and then deliberately taken apart, which is the only way the argument lands.
